Educational Tours- "Exploring New Horizons!" Sadhu Singh Shergill Academy & SSS Maple Bear Canadian School, Mukandpur recently organized four exciting educational trips for our students. Our Grade I-V students ventured on an exciting adventure to Barota Farm, Tiba Nangal, Punjab. The trip was a perfect blend of fun, learning, and exploration. The young explorers enjoyed interactive farm experiences, learning about rural life and agriculture and participating in outdoor activities that promoted teamwork and bonding. Our Grade VI-VIII embarked on a one-day Chandigarh trip, exploring Sukhna Lake's scenic view, marvelling at Rock Garden's natural rock formations and encountering wildlife at Chattbir Zoo. Another one-day trip took Grade IX and X to Bhakhra Nangal Dam, where they witnessed engineering excellence, discovered Sikh history and culture at Anandpur Sahib and uncovered Sikh heritage at Virasat-e-Khalsa. To inculcate scientific values and scientific temperament among the Science students of Grades XI and XII, the institution has organised a special three-day trip to the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) and Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun. Students also explored Ponta Sahib's stunning landscapes and revered Gurudwara Sahib on their excursion. These trips provided enriching experiences, lifelong memories, and valuable lessons for our students. We're proud of our students' curiosity and enthusiasm!
